It isn't only the 'big boys' who can influence energy policy in the UK

You may be a relatively small generation or supply company or you may be an established international energy company looking to enter the UK energy market. Either way, shaping energy policy is a critical part of you market entry and growth strategies. Energy is a hugely political market and the policy landscape will continue to change - probably quite dramatically.

And it isn't just the large companies who have the ability to shape policy and exploit the opportunities.

Trilemma UK will be able to clarify your needs and build them into an holistic energy policy story line which raises your lobbying beyond single issue special pleading. Also, an influencing plan will be produced based on an up-to-date understanding of the decision making process in Government and the opportunities to build powerful support coalitions.

Raises influencing beyond 'special pleading'

Simon Skillings has been working with Government on energy policy issues since 1989. As Director of Strategy and Energy Policy at E.ON UK he lead their input into two energy reviews. Since establishing Trilemma UK, he has advised Government on a variety of issues, including the 2020 renewable energy strategy, and has supported Ofgem in its retail market probe. Simon also served on the Boards of the Association of Electricity Producers and of the UK Business Council of Sustainable Energy and therefore has extensive experience of building cross-industry coalitions to support specific reform propositions.
